Heavenly Halo | A bespoke gold bridal crown for Teresa
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to work with Brisbane bride, Teresa, to create a bridal crown for her July wedding in Cradle Mountain, Tasmania. Teresa fell in love with the Florence wedding headpiece, a magical headpiece which we like to think of as a modern interpretation of a crown of jewels.
Teresa’s wedding dress is a timeless beauty, a stunning ivory lace wedding gown with a pale gold underlay. Her hair will be all up in a romantic updo and she found a gorgeous pair of ivory flat lace shoes – shoes that were definitely made for dancing the night away!
Customising Teresa’s bridal crown to suit her hairstyle and dress
We customised the Florence crown with larger floral sections at the back of the head to better frame her wedding updo. To ensure her hairstylist has flexibility with styling and adjusting the halo, we designed it so that it’s fully adjustable. It can be loosened or tightened depending on the amount of volume she decides to go for. This headpiece has been designed so it sits a little further back in her hairline, but it can also be worn more on the forehead as a second styling option.
The floral elements are positioned along the full circumference of the crown so it’s delicate details can be seen at all angles.
We love to style our headpieces with a veil and this heavenly halo is no exception. Teresa’s crown is designed to frame a wedding veil, with just the right amount of space in between the back section to accommodate her veil’s comb discreetly.
We love the look of Teresa’s headpiece and we’re beyond thrilled she loves her bridal crown as much as we loved making it for her!
