Modern Romance | A bespoke gold wedding halo for bride Krystal
When we receive a brief with the words, ‘romantic, elegant, old world and French’ – we swoon just a little bit. It gets our creative juices flowing!
US bride Krystal contacted us asking for a halo that would encompass all these wonderful words. Inspired by her Greek heritage of the olive and laurel coronet, she was drawn to our FLORENCE and REIGN headpieces as she wanted something to go across her forehead. So, we set to work crafting a one-of-a-kind piece that would truly represent her. A halo that would draw attention to her fabulous eyes, and transform her into the Greek goddess she is!
The final design
Using the base of FLORENCE, we couldn’t resist adding clusters of our WILD WILLOWS, gold mesh leaves to pay homage to the Greek coronet. The delicate, transparent gold shimmers almost olive-green in some light settings. We created two main focal points at the temple of white clay flowers, gold and mesh leaves, and Swarovski bead branches to draw attention to Krystal’s cheekbones and eyes.
Wedding Day | Krystal+ Greg
Krystal and her lovely beau, Greg sent through these stunning images of their wedding by the very talented Jordan + Alaina Photography. What an absolute image of divinity is Kristina?! And Greg, scrubs up quite lovely too.
Krystal’s ball gown dress is designed by Hayley Paige. It features an illusion neckline, sheer appliqued sleeves, floral applique details on the bodice and skirt, with silver bead and crystal details. And who could resist those ballet slippers?
Her hair is a glorious messy, romantic updo. It’s a mixture of curls and braids, that falls elegantly, yet stays so perfectly placed! A wedding halo works perfectly for brides wanting to wear their hair in a loose updo – like Kristina, out, or half-up half-down.
