The Rise of Romance | Rustic pink and gold wedding
I feel like I’ve been a little obsessive lately. And I suppose I have been. I’ve been dreaming up lots of new pieces for the shop and one of my first thoughts is constantly, ‘can I make this in gold?’ or ‘wouldn’t this be amazing in gold!’.
Poor silver, I still love trusty ol’ silver but there’s something about gold that mesmerises me. It’s alluring, charming and inherently luxurious. What’s not to love?
You may remember the gold wedding palette from last week. Yes, I know… I probably should write about a different colour palette this week but I just need to satisfy my craving one last time. This week, let’s delve back into that wonderful pot of gold but this time let’s combine it with beautiful rustic tones of pink. Feminine and romantic!
If you aren’t a pink kind of girl, that’s absolutely ok. Interestingly, most girls aren’t but I’m not one of them. Fuchsia pink, pale pink, antique rose… they all rank equally beautiful in my books (so long as it’s combined with something else like cream, gold, silver or perhaps even navy blue). To be honest, I think an all pink wedding would make my eyes hurt!
I love the look of a rustic pink and gold wedding palette with earthy tones and old world charm.
Beautiful for a vintage or modern wedding… modern day alchemy!
