Can this be worn with a veil?
We love to style the Harlow with a veil. The metal combs on the headpiece are positioned at the ends, creating the perfect space for your veil’s comb to slip in between. As the midsection of the Harlow is quite full, it can be worn with bulkier veils at the comb, minimizing the appearance of heavy tulle or ribbon wrapping. If you haven’t selected a veil yet, we’d love to offer suggestions from our collection to suit your wedding gown and hairstyle.
The Harlow might be too long for me. Can it be made shorter?
The Harlow headpiece can be shortened to a different length. This will require a redistribution of floral, leaf, and pearl elements for balance. Feel free to email us photos of your dress and bridal hairstyle for styling advice and a recommendation on length.
I love this headpiece but I’m not sure if it will suit my bridal hairstyle?
Please email us photos of your bridal hairstyle, and we can offer recommendations. The Harlow is versatile, suitable for loose and romantic updos, half up hairstyles, and loose curls. It can also be curved to create a ‘U’ shape above a low bun or worn underneath or on top of a high bun.
How do I secure the comb in my hair?
The Harlow is attached to two metal combs, which can be secured with bobby pins. Insert the comb into your hair and use 2 bobby pins matching your hair color to create an X shape across the metal teeth for secure placement.
Why does this headpiece have two separated combs?
We design our headpieces for functionality. The split combs allow you to curve the headpiece around your head contours, while the end combs ensure a flush fit against your hair. The space between accommodates your veil, eliminating the need for a center comb.
How can this headpiece be customized?
The Harlow can be customized in various ways, including changes to length, details, and silhouette.
