The Sable headpiece is the ultimate in femininity and floral finery. Designed to wrap around the contours of a bridal bun, this delicate yet bold piece makes a feminine and beautiful statement. We love to recommend the Sable headpiece for garden, intimate church weddings or seaside nuptials.

Wear it with:

Earrings: We love to style the Sable headpiece with our PABLO, TULIP, ISABEAU, NIGHTINGALE and MIDSUMMER earrings.
Veil: Wear the Sable with a plain or embellished veil with pearl or subtle crystal details. It can be worn with single or two tier veils in fingertip, chapel or cathedral lengths. Our favourite pairings include our AUDREY, MARAIS, DAHLIA, ROSELLA, AMORA, THEODORE or BLAIR veils. These veils can all be modified to be worn under the bun as we will attach it to a smaller comb for a more seamless finish.
Hair: Romantic hairstyles including updos, ponytails and half up hairstyles. The set can be scattered along half up hairstyles or nestled along the curve or side of a romantic wedding updo. Style them closely in a row or space them out for a look that’s artistically ethereal.
Dresses: Style this set with wedding gowns with bohemian luxe or traditional appeal. This can include almost all necklines including off the shoulder, plunging fronts or backs, cap sleeves, long sleeves and strapless dresses.

Can the Sable headpiece be worn with a veil?
We love to style the Sable with a veil. We recommend pairing it with veils that aren’t too bulky at the comb as heavy tulle or bulky ribbon wrapping on a veil comb can overwhelm the fine details of the set. Our full collection of veils are handcrafted onto finely wrapped metal combs for a more seamless finish. We’d love to offer veil suggestions from our veil collection to suit your wedding gown and hairstyle.
I love this headpiece but I’m not sure if it will suit my bridal hairstyle?
Please email us photos of your bridal hairstyle and we can offer recommendations. Sable is beautifully versatile and can be manipulated to suit the contours of loose and romantic updos.
Can I order this in plain ivory tones – not blush pink?
Yes, definitely. The ivory version is just as popular as the blush version. Please choose your colour preference from the drop down box options in the product listing. You can also select a pale gold or silver metal finish.
How do I secure the headpiece in my hair?
The Sable attaches to the hair with bobby pins. Position the headpiece in your hair and using bobby pins that match your hair colour, secure the headpiece into place by discreetly pinning into place.
How can this piece be customised?
The Sable can be customised in many ways including changes to length, details and silhouette.

What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
