The Trousseau was designed for side swept looks and romantic updos. It’s our go to piece when we’re looking to achieve a demure yet gorgeous luxe bridal vibe.

Earrings: We love to style the Trousseau comb with our GEORGE, ISABEAU, PABLO and TULIP earrings.
Veil: Wear the Trousseau headpiece with a plain or embellished veil with pearl or crystal details. It can be worn with single or two tier veils in fingertip, chapel or cathedral lengths. Our favourite pairings include our DEWBERRY, THEODORE, AUDREY, MIDNIGHT, AMORA or BLAIR veils.
Hair: All romantic hairstyles – updos, half up hairstyles and loose waves.
Dresses: Style this with wedding gowns with bohemian luxe or traditional appeal. This can include almost all necklines including off the shoulder, plunging fronts or backs, cap sleeves, long sleeves and strapless dresses.

Can the Trousseau comb be worn with a veil?
We love to style this comb with a veil. Our favourite way to style the Trousseau is to the side of the head above your ear or at the back of your head to frame an updo. If you’re looking to position the comb to the back and middle of your bridal hairstyle above your veil, please contact us and we can discuss customising the comb into a more symmetrical and slightly longer silhouette.
How do I secure the comb in my hair?
The Trousseau is attached to a metal comb which can be secured to your hair with bobby pins. Insert the comb in your hair and using 2 bobby pins that match your hair colour, secure the comb into place by discreetly creating an X shape across the metal teeth of the comb in the hair.
Can this comb be attached to a clip instead?
Due to the organic silhouette of the Trousseau, a clip will interrupt the flow and natural curve of the piece so we don’t recommend a rigid clip for this style. The shape of the clip mechanism means it would also sit higher off the head which will take away from the beauty of the look.

Yes, the curved silhouette of the Trousseau comb means it can be worn on both the left and right side of the head.

What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
