We had the pleasure of working with bride Marcella to create her pearl bridal hair comb for her wedding day. Marcella fell in love with the most beautiful blush wedding dress.  A delicately beaded design with ivory pearls and silver tones – truly a piece of art.
Marcella loved the Blushing pearl bridal hair comb and the Montague pearl earring set. They’re the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful pale gold wedding shoes she found to wear with her blush wedding dress. I love to mix and match metallics and I loved that Marcella does too!
We customised the Blushing comb with an extra scattering of freshwater pearls and silver crystal details to bring out the pearl details on her wedding dress.
We think the Blushing comb looks beautiful with a simple wedding veil – something like the Blair fingertip veil which is lightweight and barely there in appearance. As this comb is quite petite, it’s best styled to the side of a wedding updo, or tucked above the ear to accentuate beautiful Hollywood waves.
We recommend this style of comb with wedding veils attached to simple metal hair combs which are finer and don’t add bulk. In the images below, we’ve paired the Blushing comb with a veil that’s attached to a narrower comb for a seamless and effortless finish.
