STYLING INFORMATION

A Juliet cap wedding veil will set the tone for a luxurious bohemian chic and romantic bridal look.

The Augustine veil falls to 300cm from the head to the end of the train. This single tier veil doesn’t feature a blusher layer to pull over your face. Instead, it’s designed to frame the hairline. The lace details on this veil are designed around a halo base and extend down to the waistline. The bottom and middle section of this veil is left bare so it can blend in beautifully with your wedding dress without overwhelming it.

Wear it with:

Earrings: We love to style this veil with classic drop earrings, studs or statement earrings. Our favourite pairings include our CASCADE, WILLOW, PABLO, WILLOW, TEARDROP, TULIP, ISABEAU, BELLA and MIDSUMMER earrings.
Headpiece: This statement veil speaks volumes on its own.
Hair: All romantic hairstyles – updos, half up hairstyles, low set ponytails and loose waves.

Please send us photos of your wedding dress and we’d love to offer advice and recommendations on whether this veil will suit your look. If not, we can also suggest other veils from our collection which might be more suitable.
Can the Augustine be lengthened or shortened to suit my dress?
Most definitely. We can customise the Augustine veil to suit your dress, height and train length.
Can you add a blusher layer to this veil?
We can add a blusher layer for an additional fee. Adding a blusher will require additional embellishments and changes to the position of existing details to ensure that when the blusher is pulled forward and backward, the veil will look seamless and sit beautifully. For example, we would need to hand bead both sides of the 3D flowers to ensure there is beading on the underside of the blusher layer, the floral elements would be brought forward to the sides of the blusher and some pearl embellishments will be carried forward also. We would design this based on the silhouette and style of your dress to ensure the veil doesn’t take away from the beauty of your gown. Please contact us for a quote.
Can you customise the flowers and beading to match my dress?
We love to customise our designs to better suit your wedding dress. Variations to flower shapes and different flower sizes will impact the flow and look of the design so we’d be happy to offer suggestions on how this can be achieved.

Can you extend the embellishments onto the train?
The embellishments can be extended across the full circumference of the veil. The finished look is next level gorgeous! Please contact us for a quote.

Your Augustine veil will arrive beautifully packaged in our signature gift packaging, including veil hanger and care instructions for safe keeping.
Can I request a rush order?
Absolutely. Send us an email with your urgent wedding date and we’ll get back to you with confirmation ASAP. We have limited supplies for Florence rush orders so please contact us to confirm.
What is the Augustine veil made from?
The Augustine veil is handcrafted from a fine English netting in soft ivory or white tones. It features imported fine lace, sheer petals which are hand formed into flowers, hand beading and Austrian pearl embellishments.
I’m not sure what colour would suit my dress
Please send us a link to your wedding dress and we’d love to send you a recommendation. If your dress isn’t available online, you’re welcome to email us photos of your dress taken in natural light. We’re always happy to send fabric swatches.
What is the difference between your ‘bridal white’ and ‘soft ivory’?
We like to aim for a colour match or a shade lighter than your wedding dress. The ‘soft ivory’ is a light ivory which suits off-white to medium ivory wedding gowns. The ‘bridal white’ is best paired with clean white gowns without any warm undertones.

BRIDAL WHITE veil: Pair this with white, silk white or diamond white wedding dresses.
SOFT IVORY veil: Pair this with off-white, light ivory, soft ivory or medium ivory wedding dresses.
Can I request a sample?
Absolutely, we’d love to send you a fabric swatch free of charge. Send us an email with your wedding date and postal address and we can ship a sample of the tulle out to you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery via standard post for international addresses.
What happens after I submit my order?
Once you submit your order, we’ll be in touch to discuss processing/production and delivery timeframes for the items you ordered. We’ll also check your wedding date and answer any styling or product questions you may have. If you have ordered a veil with a blusher, we’ll ask you for your height measurement and an idea of where you’ll be positioning the comb in your hair to ensure we cut your blusher to a flattering length. Please note: some styles from the collection are ‘ready to ship’ and others are ‘made to order’ so please check timeframes in each listing.
