Are your bridesmaids choosing their own hairstyles for your big day? After chatting to lots of brides-to-be, it’s great to discover that more and more brides are handing over hair decisions to their bridesmaids.
Not only does it allow the special ladies in your life to be a special part of the day, but it’s also one less thing to think about. It frees up your time to plan other fun parts of the wedding!
It’s all about giving the girls the opportunity to be themselves and let them feel as comfortable as possible. Let’s face it, everyone has different hair, sometimes different length hair, and styles that they prefer. So, why not opt for mismatched bridesmaid hairstyles that allows for all these differences?
I’m all for looks that aren’t too “matchy-matchy”. When done right, it displays a level of styling that is effortlessly chic. It’s important for the overall look of the bridal party to work together but there is a fair amount of flexibility with this. The common link of the mix and match look may be the style (think all up in a range of bridal buns or a mix of half up/half down), the hair accessories or maybe even just the colour or style of the dress.

Personally I would have to say my absolute favourite is the Messy Bun with a Braided Wrap but all the styles will work with both curly and straight hair and the styles emulate timeless beauty. Each DIY video walks through the process clearly so even the most glamorous look can be easily achieved.
