An Evening in Florence

We adored working with the loveliest bride Winnie to create a bespoke wedding headpiece for her upcoming wedding. Winnie’s favourite styles from the collection were the EDEN and the HELENA headpieces – much loved styles for their organic styling, delicate details and floral elements.

In creating her custom headpiece, we looked to these two styles for inspiration and customised the colour scheme and layout to suit her bridal look.

How to style this wedding headpiece

This special headpiece was designed to wind along Winnie’s hairline, featuring pearl and crystal details at perfect intervals to frame her loose curls and sweeping part to the right. Although it’s designed to be worn along the hairline, it can also be flipped over and worn backwards to captivate her guests from behind. It’s always lovely to offer our brides a second way of styling the one headpiece and there’s no doubt Winnie’s headpiece will exude whimsical and elegant appeal no matter how she chooses to wear it.

Rather than a formal crown or tiara, this piece is designed to be positioned directly on the hair to sit more as a wreath. The mid-section feels airy and spacious and the side clusters are slightly more detailed to perfectly frame her face.

Organic styling

There are so many things we love about Winnie’s bespoke headpiece.  There’s no denying we love its carefree spirit – as if it’s been plucked from among the vines. Its organic styling adds a touch of bohemian sophistication and the inviting tones of soft ivory, gold and touches of blush pink feel effortlessly chic.

To add a final touch of glamour to her ethereal organza and lace wedding gown, Winnie will be pairing this headpiece with our LOUVRE veil in soft ivory tones. This cathedral veil will frame the dramatic long train on her dress and create a look that’s regal and romantic.

Customised for you

If you’d love to chat about how we can customise our designs to suit your wedding dress and hairstyle, send us an email and share photographs. We’d love to work with you to help you bring together your bridal look.

Every bride is different and the vision we all have in our minds of how we’d like to look and feel on our wedding day varies so much between brides. The same wedding dress can completely transform with slight changes in accessories. If you’re looking to channel a regal and sophisticated vibe, a crown or tiara could be the way to go. Fancy a glamorous and chic look? Think long drop earrings and maybe a side swept look.

So much of this, of course, depends on your wedding dress and its neckline, your face shape and wedding hairstyle.

A bespoke floral wedding crown

We recently had the pleasure to work with bride Nancy to create her dream floral wedding crown. Nancy’s vision for her day was ultra chic and glamorous, choosing to wear an insanely glamorous wedding dress with the most beautiful floral and lace appliqué details. Its silhouette was extravagant yet timeless, and she was seeking a headpiece that pulled together all of these special qualities.

Nancy loved our GABRIEL floral halo but wanted a piece that sat in her hair more as a crown than a halo. She also sought for it to be taller and of larger proportions. We were able to take on board all of Nancy’s thoughts and feedbacks and incorporate them into a headpiece that felt balanced, proportional, and of course, beautiful.

Delicate rose appliqué details

One of our favourite details of this crown include the rose appliqué details that feature prominently across this piece. These rose elements perfectly complement the floral details on Nancy’s gown and add a timeless quality like no other flower.

When set amongst shimmering crystal details and antique silver leaf and vine elements, the silver and ivory colour palette speaks to heritage, tradition and glamour.

Customisable for you

If you love this floral wedding crown, or have your heart set on another style from our collection that isn’t quite right for your wedding dress or hairstyle, get in touch. We’d love to work with you to create the perfect crown or headpiece.

Like most, we have a soft spot for delicate details. The combination of thoughtfulness, time and attention to detail is what our brand and work is all about and it’s our favourite way to spend our time.

We also love working directly with our brides around the world to bring their visions to life. We love to get into her head to understand her personal style and dreams for her special day.

We recently had the pleasure of working with bride Jessica to customise her BOTANICA crystal hair vine in a longer length to better suit her bridal hairstyle and gown.

A customised hair vine for Jessica

The BOTANICA headpiece is adored for its antique silver crystal details and floral elements.  It’s a piece full of texture and detail that’s equal parts feminine and enchanting.

The original piece extends to approximately 19cm.  To suit Jessica’s vision, we extended it to 25cm and widened the mid section so it felt proportional and balanced. We wanted to ensure the additional floral and vine-like details in the mid section were full enough to conceal a wedding veil tucked neatly underneath, but also didn’t overwhelm the piece with excessive details.

We adore the finished headpiece and are absolutely thrilled Jessica loves it too.

Style this with

This extended headpiece is perfectly suited to loose half up hairstyles, low set updos and all out hairstyles. The piece features metal hair combs positioned at the ends so you can easily manipulate the shape of the piece to curve to the contours of your head.

Pair this headpiece with gowns featuring intricate lacework and silver beading for a look that’s ethereal and sophisticated. The BOTANICA also suits clean modern lines and structured silhouettes.

Straight from the workbench, the ODE TO DUSK is a delicate bridal hair vine inspired by the beautiful tones of dusk.  This piece was lovingly designed for bride Jessica in warm and inviting tones of silver, rose gold and blush. We adore this colour palette because it’s equal parts romantic, chic and feminine.

In designing Jessica’s bridal hair vine, we drew inspiration from the TEAROSE hair pin. Jessica loved the details and colours of this piece but preferred a longer length and style to suit her bridal hairstyle. So we lengthened her piece by double and redesigned the layout to better suit the symmetry of her hairstyle. This beautiful piece is designed to be worn in the centre back of her head with a veil.

We love the simplicity of this hair vine and the organic nature of its elements. It would perfectly suit lace wedding gowns, structured modern gowns or soft and flowing silhouettes.

How to style this bridal hair vine

The ODE TO DUSK is a dainty piece that can be worn with or without a wedding veil, in half up hair or to adorn a bridal updo. The split comb system allows you to position a wedding veil in place and the headpiece on top for a look that’s seamless and effortless. You can simply remove the veil after the ceremony and wear the headpiece in your hair for the reception and evening festivities.

Customisable in various colours to suit you

The beauty of TEAROSE is in its feminine design, delicate details and beautiful colour combinations. This beautiful piece for Jessica would also work beautifully in silver/ivory, gold/ivory and gold blush tones.

Below you’ll find images of a silver/ivory version we recently created for bride Sarah.

We love a wedding tiara as much as the next bride and we were inspired by the beauty and delicacy of pearls in designing this exquisite piece. The AGNES delicate wedding tiara is our newest obsession – and it’s the perfect piece to indulge your inner royal.

The AGNES wedding tiara pays tribute to yesteryear with its antique inspired detailing and classic silver and ivory colour palette. It’s a statement piece that’s equal parts vintage-inspired and dainty, and bound by our signature feminine aesthetic.

The beauty of this piece lies in its fine and delicate details which have been offset by statement pearl focal points. We wanted to create a wedding tiara of medium height that perfectly framed the face and bridal hairstyles.

If you’re a lover of pearl details, pair it with the MIDSUMMER pearl drop earrings for a look that’s modern and chic.

How to style the AGNES wedding tiara with pearls

A fresh take on decadence, we love the look of this wedding tiara with structured modern silhouettes, flowy silk chiffon gowns and exquisite lace wedding dresses. It’s the perfect piece to capture a regal and romantic vibe.

Looking for inspiration for hairstyles to suit this wedding tiara? This pretty piece is perfect for formal updos, tousled bridal updos, loose waves and polished hairstyles.

This delicate crown pairs perfectly with the MIDSUMMER, MONTE and LOURDES earring sets.

Customisable to suit you

We love to offer our brides the option of customising our designs to suit your wedding dress, bridal hairstyle and personal preferences. If you’d love this crown with soft pink pearls instead of natural toned pearls, for example, do get in touch and let us know and we can certainly accommodate.

The HARVEST gold wedding crown is all about natural and organic floral styling.  Inspired by a love for wild flowers, this artfully arranged red and gold wedding crown is reminiscent of freshly picked flowers from a field of wild blossoms.

For the unique bride, this crown makes an elegant yet bold statement that’s whimsical and feminine for the modern romantic. If you’re yearning for something a little different and unconventional, working colour into your bridal look can be a fashion-forward way to make a beautiful statement.

Your accessories should represent your personal style and sensibilities, your likes and loves and your perception of beauty. For some brides, this might mean something a little unconventional and bold, or for other brides it might mean something more traditional and classic. Whatever your style, your bridal look should feel like a natural extension of your style.

Perfect pairing

We love to pair the HARVEST crown with delicate and dainty crystal earring drops. These ethereal and lightweight sets perfectly frame the face without competing with the bold red details scattered across the headpiece.

Our favourite combinations include the GEORGE, ISABEAU and ARLETTE crystal drop sets.

Customisable in different colour palettes

This gold wedding crown features a beautiful balance of foraged red flowers, ruby red crystals and rose gold and blush elements set against gold toned detail.  As a bespoke accessories designer, all of our pieces can be customised to suit your bridal colour palette.

We think this unique piece would look beautiful in antique silver tones with scattered ivory flowers, soft natural freshwater pearls and empire blue details for a subtle touch of colour.

Fancy something a little more classic? Perhaps gold and ivory tones with champagne elements might be more your style.  Or antique silver with blush tones and soft ivory tones might feel a little more timeless and sophisticated. This beautiful piece – along with our bridal collection – can be customised to suit your wedding dress, hairstyle and personal preferences.

How to style this gold wedding headpiece

Organic bridal styling is about effortless elegance. The HARVEST gold wedding tiara takes cues from the wilderness with boho luxe appeal. It’s designed to frame the face and hair as though it’s growing out of your hair and weaving along your hair line in a way that’s fluid and romantic.

We think this piece would style beautifully with a sheer bridal veil with a clean raw edge. Pair it with a drop veil such as the ROSELLA wedding veil or a classic cut shorter veil such as our BLAIR fingertip veil.

In terms of hair, think all out hair with loose curls, half up hairstyles or a soft romantic bun.

Wear it again after the wedding day

It’s always a good thing when you can wear something again after your wedding day. The HARVEST headpiece would perfectly suit spring races, engagement parties or anniversary dinners. Pair it with loose curls and all out messy hair for a look that’s bohemian inspired, soft and romantic.

There’s a certain magic about the VERSAILLES wedding headpiece. A subtle and sweet tribute to Mother Nature that’s bursting with botanical details in a way that’s refined and sophisticated. This signature wedding headpiece from our collection became the inspiration for Cathy’s custom headpiece and we were honoured to have had the opportunity to create it for Cathy’s wedding day.

We love the subtle golden allure of this heirloom worthy piece. It feels uncomplicated, unbounded and bursting with botanical details. It’s the perfect piece if you’re inspired by the rawness of nature and the richness of golden colour palettes. When paired with an ivory wedding dress, the warmth of the golden hues contrast beautifully and creates a striking focal point.

As a bespoke bridal accessories designer, we are able to customise all of our bridal headpieces and veils to suit the hairstyles, wedding dresses and visions of our brides. A wedding headpiece doesn’t need to be a one-size-fits all addition to a bridal look, and we stand by our bespoke mandate to offer our brides versatility and flexibility with styling.

A gold wedding headpiece with floral elements for Cathy

Signature to our collections is a love for the botanics and a deep respect for nature.

We reimagined this gold wedding headpiece whilst staying true to the aesthetic of the VERSAILLES, reworking the elements so that its asymmetry was subtle yet purposeful – allowing Cathy to style it in her side swept hairstyle. This headpiece still has a certain symmetry to it which we adore, and means it can easily be worn with symmetrical hairstyles that are yearning for an organic accessory to soften the lines.

Creating the perfectly imperfect has its challenges – the balance of proportions, spacing and function. But with a bit of trial and experimentations, we’re thrilled with the end result and are even happier that Cathy loves it too.

Style it with

Cathy fell in love with an exquisite side swept bridal hairstyle that gently cascaded over her shoulder.  We wanted to create her wedding headpiece so that it accentuated her hairstyle as well as her wedding dress.  This beautiful piece could also be worn with half up hairstyles, a low set updo and even all out curls.

A wedding veil would be the perfect accompaniment – perfectly positioned between the two combs to sit seamlessly in her hair.

A silver wedding crown with pearls is one that will never go out of style. It’s refined, sophisticated and luxurious. It ticks all the right boxes – not too sparkly, a beautiful balance of texture and detail, and not to forget, feminine and striking.

Finding that perfect headpiece or wedding crown can be a challenge. Matching details and colours is one thing. But then to also factor in your face shape, hairstyle, proportions and your hair type all need to be taken into consideration. This is exactly why we live by our custom made mandate – because not all brides are alike.

We love the look of a wedding crown with pearls because we feel the subtle shimmer of a pearl adds the loveliest feminine touch to a headpiece. Freshwater pearls combine perfectly with sparkly crystal elements in a way that’s sophisticated and timeless.

The inspiration - Ryonna's wedding dress

The loveliest bride Ryonna was in touch about a custom wedding crown for her wedding day. She plans to wear two statement wedding gowns – a striking ball gown with sculptural ruffled details along the neckline in soft ivory tones. The second look will be a blush/champagne dress of equal beauty and delicacy.

We worked with Ryonna to create her perfect crown – one that brought together her favourite details from our collection, and one that complemented both dresses and her hairstyle.

Bride Ryonna loved the floral motifs of our FLEUR crown and ROSEBURY crowns, the delicacy of our TEMPEST crown and the fullness of our CARLA tiara. She also sought a silver and ivory palette against her dark hair.

A custom silver wedding crown with pearls

In designing this crown, we embarked on a unique scalloped edge to complement the lines of the ruffled edge on her ball gown. Her designer wedding dresses featured couture craftsmanship, delicate beaded elements and strong lines which all needed to be taken into account. It’s important that a headpiece or accessories don’t draw attention away from the dress. Instead, the perfect headpiece should accentuate the gown, as well as the face shape and proportions of the bride wearing it.

Custom wedding crowns and bridal accessories

Finding the right crown for you and your wedding dress depends on a lot of factors. Firstly, your wedding dress – of course! And of equal importance are other considerations including your face shape, wedding hairstyle, position of your hairline, hair type, your height and proportions, your bridal jewellery, your skin tone and your hair colour… Not to mention the venue of your wedding. A seaside wedding calls for quite different accessories to a cathedral or backyard wedding. And of course, there’s cultural considerations and superstitions that also need to be taken into account.

We specialise in custom wedding accessories because we understand the challenge of finding that perfect dress. We absolutely and whole heartedly understand the challenges of finding accessories to bring together the whole bridal look in a way that feels like you and not like a bridal costume that’s been handed to you.

If you’re looking for the perfect details to finish your bridal look, feel free to get in touch. Send us photos of your wedding dress including close up photos, images from your hair trial (if any), your bridal jewellery, shoes, and your face shape. We’d love to work with you to create your bridal heirloom.

Something truly magical happens when you combine blush pink and gold tones. There’s a warm and romantic quality which are equal parts delicious and sophisticated.  Metallic tones of silver or gold can act to neutralise the warmth of peachy blush tones in a way that ivory can sometimes struggle to achieve.

But it can be a challenge to find a beautiful blush pink headpiece that feels effortless and ethereal. Often pink tones are on the candy pink or baby pink end of the spectrum and can sometimes look out of place against dusty pink and romantic hues.

A bespoke gold and blush pink headpiece for bride Leza

We had the pleasure to work with bride Leza to design a custom headpiece for her ivory and blush wedding dress. To say the silhouette and lace work on Leza’s gown is exquisite would be an understatement. We wanted to create a piece that complemented the fine elements of her dress without drawing attention away from the delicate details.

We’re an Australian based design studio and we offer our custom design service to all of our brides, irrespective of their global location. Leza is based in the United Arab Emirates and via email, we were able to discuss all the pretty elements of her dream headpiece and bring it to life for her.

Styling a blush pink headpiece

If your heart fell in love with a blush wedding dress, this doesn’t necessarily mean you need to find a blush headpiece or pink accessories to finish your look. We work with many brides who choose to wear ivory, gold or silver accessories that complement other elements such as their wedding veil, bridal shoes or jewellery.

However, where the blush details on your dress are more subtle (perhaps an ivory lace dress with blush pink elements or beading woven through an ivory base) and you’d love to accentuate the blush elements, a blush pink headpiece might be the perfect way to bring out this romantic hue.

We love to combine blush pink tones with silver or gold elements to neutralise the pink tones whilst accentuating the warmth of this hue. The headpiece we designed for Leza combines both silver and gold elements for a look that’s striking and breathtakingly romantic.

The inspiration

Leza adored our HONEYSUCKLE headpiece and to better suit her colour palette, we customised to elements with soft pink tones. The original HONEYSUCKLE can be seen below and features a gold and ivory palette.

We customised Leza’s piece with additional freshwater pearl sprigs, comprising larger and smaller pearls for texture and variety. The ivory clay flowers were replaced with a beautiful soft blush flowers also.

We’d love to hear from you!

We love a floral bridal headpiece as much as the next bride. We can’t help ourselves – we live and breath all things delicate and beautiful, and often find floral elements can add the perfect detail to a bridal look.

A bridal headpiece bursting with floral femininity is the ultimate in bridal styling. You can pair it with a wedding veil or wear it alone as a statement piece. Either way, wear it for the wedding ceremony and dance with it into the night with just a few bobby pins holding it securely into place.

Customised for bride Nadine

We recently had the pleasure of working with German bride Nadine to create her custom ANAIS bridal headpiece with ivory clay flowers. In addition to changing the flowers, we also shortened it slightly, altered the layout to better suit her fine Chantilly lace wedding dress, her hairstyle and her general preferences for a more delicate piece.

The end result? Well, we’re obviously bias but we love how it’s the perfect balance of delicacy and jaw-dropping beauty.

Flexible to suit a range of bridal hairstyles

Our ‘made to order’ and ‘custom made’ mandates are at the heart of everything we do. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to wedding accessories. You know the struggle of finding that wedding dress that was perfect for you, and there’s no reason why off-the-shelf accessories aren’t any different.

We customise our wedding headpieces and veils to suit our bride’s height, head shapes, face shapes, jewellery – and of course, wedding dresses. There’s so much to factor in when it comes to styling a bridal look and we like to factor in all these important details to ensure the final look is seamless, timeless and beautiful.

The bridal headpiece we designed for Nadine is built on a flexible base so she can easily curve it to the contours of her head and hairstyle. We’ve photographed it styled backwards on the head but it can also be worn along the hairline as a headband/crown.
