Easily one of the most loved wildflowers, there’s something endlessly inspiring by the majestic blue blooms that grow in the woods and English gardens in springtime. Rich in pollen and nectar, the bluebell flower has an elusive scent reminiscent of the hyacinth flower. It’s no wonder the bluebell is commonly used in bridal bouquets and corsages.
We believe in the language of flowers and the dewy bluebell speaks to everlasting love, humility and constancy.
We looked to this delightful blue flowering stem as the perfect source of inspiration for our latest ‘Something Blue’ hair pin set.
The rhyme that often comes to mind when planning your wedding is the age old, ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, a sixpence in your shoe’. While a coin in your shoe wouldn’t be too comfortable, your ‘something blue’ also doesn’t need to look or feel out of place with the rest of your bridal look.
For lovers for deeper shades of blue, there’s a number of styles in our ‘something blue’ accessories collection that feature beautiful shades of empire blue. Our ARTEMIS, MAYBELLE, FONTAINE and LADY GREY are some of our popular styles for brides seeking that subtle and sophisticated ‘something blue’.
For brides seeking a pale shade of blue, the powder blue tones of the BLUEBELLS hair pin set blends beautifully against all hair colours and ivory or white wedding gowns. In designing these pins, we fell in love with the mineral – almost misty – tone of the crystal beads. Subtle, sweet and romantic, this shade of pale blue is a perfect match to soft gold or silver wiring.
All styles in our collections are customisable to suit you. We love to style this set of two BLUEBELLS in multiples – think a set of four or six around a loose low set updo. For a look that’s more delicate and subtle, a set of two can be positioned to the side of a bun or half up hairstyle.
If you love this set, send us an email and can chat more about your bridal look.

One of the latest pieces off the workbench is a crystal hair piece for bride Frances. This delicate yet bold piece hints to the constellations with its celestial inspired details derived from our STELLAR hair pins. Appropriately titled ‘To the Moon and Back’, we were star struck by the beauty of the sparkly crystal elements which feel illuminating and beautifully decadent.
We adore how Frances’ headpiece makes opulence feel effortless.
This bewitching showstopper is a celebration of the stars and the moon in our night sky. It was handcrafted in shades of antique silver and soft silver crystal elements. The crystals were scattered and applied in various sizes and shapes in a beautifully organic way including navettes and round crystals.
The star-like details from our STELLAR pin set were artfully woven onto the vines, evoking an edgier vibe to our signature florals. Star-inspired motifs blur the lines between floral and celestial accents which still beautifully complement floral motifs on lace wedding dresses or modern silhouettes.
This piece can be made to order in silver tones (as pictured) or for a look that hints at a warmer colour palette, rose gold or gold wiring are also available. The crystals in silver tones pair beautifully with all metal finishes and creates an enchanting and celestial inspired feel to your bridal look.
We love to design pieces that can be worn in more than one way. While Frances’ headpiece was designed specifically to be worn at the back of her head to frame her wedding updo, it can also be styled along the hairline to one side for a second reception look.
To position the piece into place, your hairstylist will simply use bobby pins or hair pins across the teeth and under the hair to secure it into place.
We work with brides worldwide to bring their bridal visions to life. As our work is all designed and handcrafted in-house, all elements of our pieces can be customised to suit your wedding dress and hairstyle including length, width, details, colours and attachments.
Feel free to send us photos of your wedding dress, hairstyles and links or style names of pieces from our collection you love and we can get back to you with some ideas and recommendations.
The soft, billowy beauty of a veil can completely transform your bridal look with its movement and drape. And while we love minimalist and traditional veils, an embellished wedding veil adorned with laces, crystals or pearls can feel fresh and infinitely romantic.
The design possibilities of embellished veils are endless. From veils that are dripped in feather-soft organza blooms, to veils dotted with soft ivory pearls and dazzling crystals, embellishments add texture and detail to an otherwise blank canvas. With lengths and styles customisable to suit you, your veil can beautifully complement your body shape and dress and capture your personality.
Dramatic veils also pair beautifully with modern silhouettes, from on-trend body suits to barely-there dresses. For a look that’s enchanting and sensual, find our styling tips on how to style and make a statement with your wedding veil.
Shop this look: RIVIERA veil
Our signature floral wedding veils are layered with lace motifs, organza flowers and bead work, with each layer adding texture and dimension. The effect from a far is romantic and dreamy, as the floral elements set onto sheer tulle give the illusion that they’re floating over you. But the veils are just as beautiful up close, where the detailed bead work can be fully appreciated.
A floral veil doesn’t need to feel heavily embellished or overwhelming. The organic details can be applied to the top of the veil only – to frame your shoulders and hairstyle – as seen in the CATALINA, WEEPING CHERRY and RIVIERA veils. If your dress is more detailed across the top with lace sleeves or a beaded bodice, the floral details can float along the train of the veil and drape behind you as walk – as seen in NIGHT GARDEN veil. If you’d like head-to-toe florals, then the ATHENA veil might be perfect for you. All veils can be made with or without a blusher layer and in varying lengths.
Pearls feel classical and timeless, and a scattering of pearls on a veil can have a modern and chic effect. Even if your look is a little more traditional, a pearl veil can exudes a more contemporary vibe compared to a more traditional or vintage-inspired lace trimmed veil.
Reminiscent of drifting snow flakes, our pearl veils are made with soft bridal illusion tulle and crystal pearls. The pearls are attached by hand, with special attention to placement, so that the overall effect is balanced, flattering and seamless.
The pearl details can be placed on the top, as seen on the THEODORE veil, or along the bottom of the veil – the LUMIERE veil. For a look that’s next level, the pearl embellishments can be applied and scattered all over. It’s everything we love about the NADIA veil. Our veils can be made with or without a blusher and available in cathedral, chapel or fingertip lengths.
Crystal accents were once only for the bling-obsessed bride. No longer a detail to be feared, our range of crystal veils have been designed to reflect a more captivating and intriguing mood. The result is added drama and romance to a bridal look – without the excessive ‘bling’ factor.
In designing our collection of crystal veils, we looked to the night sky for inspiration. Each shimmering crystal has been meticulously applied by hand to catch the light and enlighten your bridal look in an effortless, celestial and ethereal way.
One of our most versatile crystal veil designs is the airy and dramatic MORNING MIST veil. This veil features crystals that are scattered around the face, shoulders and neckline. For sparkle from head to toe, the DEWBERRY feels dreamy and dramatic without the overwhelm.
Feel free to send us an email with photos of your wedding dress and bridal hairstyle and we would be happy to send you recommendations and ideas via email.

A one shoulder wedding dress is more than a seasonal trend. It’s a stunning choice that exudes elegance and modern sophistication. The asymmetrical design naturally draws attention to your neckline and shoulders, making it essential to choose a hairstyle that complements this unique silhouette. Whether you’re looking for something classic, romantic or contemporary, here are the top five hairstyles that perfectly pair with a one shoulder wedding dress.
Whether your one shoulder dress features a dramatic flounced ruffle or a fine spaghetti strap, picking a hairstyle is important to ensure your overall look feels balanced and proportional. You can play on the asymmetry or you can even stay neutral with loose hair flowing behind your shoulders.
Scroll below to see five of our favourite hairstyles for one shoulder wedding dresses.
A side swept hairstyle with a one shoulder dress will always look classic and chic. It’s one of the most popular choices for a one shoulder wedding dress. When pulled over one shoulder, this hairstyle beautifully balances the asymmetry of the dress while adding a touch of romance and softness.
Pin back one side with a small comb above the ear or a subtle braid will offer boho luxe appeal. Pearl drop earrings or a thin bridal headband will add a touch of elegance and flair to your look.

A classic chignon is an elegant updo that pairs beautifully with a one shoulder wedding dress. This hairstyle offers a timeless look that’s both sophisticated and refined. The chignon’s simplicity allows the dress to take centre stage while still providing a polished and put-together appearance. By the keeping the hair off your shoulders, you let the asymmetrical neckline shine. This look is particularly stunning if you’re wearing statement earrings or a detailed shoulder strap.
A jewelled hair comb or dainty bridal hair pins nestled to the side opposite the strap, will create balance and enhance the overall look. Bridal stud earrings or drop earrings will beautifully frame your neckline.

For a look that feels minimal yet high style, pull back polished hair and pin them into place behind the ears. This is a beautiful choice if your dress features a dramatic ruffle or sculptural element that you’d like to highlight. This hairstyle is all about minimalism and clan lines, offering a chic and sophisticated vibe that’s both contemporary and timeless.

The slicked back style is striking on is own, so add a touch of elegance with a subtle accessory. Statement earrings or bridal studs are the perfect finishing detail.

For the modern bride who wants a sleek, bold look, a high ponytail is an excellent option that pairs perfectly with a one shoulder wedding dress. This hairstyle is all about confidence and contemporary style. This hairstyle works because the high ponytail’s clean lines and sleek finish contrast beautifully with the asymmetrical design of the dress, creating a chic, high-fashion look. This hairstyle also elongates the neck and highlights the shoulders, making it an ideal choice for brides who want to make a statement.
If you want to wear a veil, choose a veil on a small narrow comb so it can be secured just above or below the ponytail. This will create a more seamless finish. Our veils can be customised for ponytails. Scatter bridal hair pins to the alternate side to balance the shoulder detail.

For brides who want to keep their hair down, loose waves offer an effortlessly glamorous option that pairs perfectly with a one shoulder dress. Deep mid or side parts and flowing waves create a sense of balance that complements the asymmetrical design of the dress. This hairstyle is ideal for brides who want a more relaxed, yet elegant look without sacrificing style.
Keep your look simple with dainty bridal earrings, a minimalist wedding veil or a statement bridal wing.

This artfully arranged wedding hair comb is one of the latest bespoke pieces to leave the workbench for Saudi Arabian bride, Mariam. Inspired by the beauty of the PRIMROSE hair comb, this romantic piece has been reworked into a wider format to better suit her low set bridal updo.
This delightful comb has been infused with floral elements including a handcrafted clay rose, primrose flowers and dogwood blooms.
We love the organic nature of this floral display and the cascading arrangement of blooms and buds amongst pearl sprays.
Mariam will be styling her hair in a beautiful low set bun. A chic and sophisticated hairstyle that needed a little detail to the side to complete her bridal look.
For a second look, Mariam can position the comb to the side of loose waves – think Old Hollywood style waves, gently swept to one side.
A silver and ivory colour palette is the epitome of classic bridal styling. The silver tones feel clean and sophisticated with the soft ivory tones a beautiful accompaniment to wedding dresses from off-white to warm ivory. We also love the luxurious tones of the pearl sprays which add a natural shimmer.
This piece for Mariam can be reworked in pale gold and ivory tones if you’d prefer a warmer colour palette. The soft champagne tones feels equal parts enchanting and inviting.
We love to work with our brides to bring together their bridal looks. All of our designs can be customised to better suit your wedding dress and hairstyle.
If your wedding is fast approaching, there may still be time for production and international shipping. Timing was critical for Mariam as her wedding was fast approaching, but in the limited time we had, we loved working with Mariam on her special piece.

Bride Kate melded her love of the tropics and Old Hollywood to create a hybrid theme that had all the glamour and style of a Wes Anderson movie set. Even the venue looked like it came straight from The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Although not set in Europe, Kate and Grant’s wedding took place in an equally exotic location. They were married at Hotel Galvez, a Texas (USA) hotel built in 1911 which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel is grand and historic, with lots of palm trees, and this formed the basis of the wedding theme. With her ballgown, ROSEBURY crown and tropical bouquet, Kate’s glamorous bridal look was red-carpet ready!
The beachfront Hotel Galvez features lavish ballrooms and tropical gardens, and these features took centre stage when Kate was planning the wedding.
“The venue was so beautiful already that I really wanted to incorporate all those details and just turn it up a notch,” says Kate. “The theme ended up being Tropical Glam with a little bit of an Old Hollywood feel. I was reading a wedding blog the other day and they were talking about a ‘Tropulence’ theme – Tropical Opulence. And I was like “That’s it!” I had no idea; I was just doing what I liked.”
To Kate’s surprise, her wedding dress was completely different to the dress she’d imagined wearing, which is why she suggests not rejecting dresses until you try them on first.
“If you would have asked me what kind of dress I was going to wear when I first got engaged, I would have told you all fitted, no poofyness, and no strapless because I didn’t want to be bothered with pulling up my dress all night! But after trying on some fit and flare type dresses – while I loved the way they looked – I felt like I couldn’t really move, walk, or sit down. I love to dance and one of the things I was most looking forward to about our wedding was our amazing band so I ended up going a different direction with my dress.”
Kate choose a strapless Reem Acra gown with an embellished lace bodice which sat snugly on her hips. The dress had a tulle skirt, which she detached for the reception, to reveal a flowy organza skirt.
“The tulle skirt had these layers of horsehair netting to give it this beautiful structure. One of the layers was pure glitter which really sold me because I’m extra like that.”
Kate was attracted to the gold tones and crystal details of the ROSEBURY crown, which beautifully matched the beading on her dress. She styled the crown closer to the back of her head, allowing strands of hair to frame her face.
“I chose Old Hollywood curls for my hairstyle. Inspiration was a photo of Blake Lively on the red carpet, who is GOALS!,” says Kate.
Kate’s budgeting tip: If you need a place to cut back on budget, pick the shoes – no one will see them!
In line with Kate’s love of dancing and music, there were a couple of special musical surprises throughout the day.
“For our recessional music I had the string quartet play the Star Wars theme song. It was a surprise for my husband, as we are both huge Star Wars fans, he was stoked!,” says Kate. “My dad is a musician and he and my uncle performed the Beatles song ‘Twist and Shout’ to kick off the dancing during the reception. This was another surprise – I thought he might play a sappy song, but this was so much better! I’m a huge Beatles fan and my dad pulled it off perfectly and really got the party going!”
Kate has three top pieces of advice for couples planning their wedding day…
There’s something about the HELENA bridal headpiece which feels wildly feminine and enchanting. It could be its long vine-line silhouette, or the fact that it’s bursting with florals at various stages of bloom. We love its carefree styling that was inspired by the beauty of wildflowers – like freshly picked flowers woven into loose romantic hair.
The loveliest bride Christina fell in love with our HELENA and was seeking variations to it to better suit her bridal look. Christina loved its detailing but wanted it in a soft blush, almost champagne, tone with more ivory tones scattered across it. Her vision matched our aesthetic and we too have a love for muted blush tones.
We tossed around a few ideas and settled on a headpiece which brought together the soft pinkish tones of the CHERRY BLOSSOM hair piece set on the silhouette of the HELENA.
We brought to life her vision by softening the gold tones with a champagne enamel finish which created a silvery shimmer. The muted metal colour palette feels intriguing and enchanted and we love how it reflects the light in the most beautiful way. The soft ombre effect feels luxurious, warm and inviting.
Christina’s headpiece is designed to be worn at the back of the head to create a dramatic entrance as she walks down the aisle.
Its length and style means it can also be worn along the hairline too if she’d like the option of a second bridal look for the reception. It’s a truly romantic and feminine piece that sets the mood for a magical wedding day.
We work with brides worldwide to bring to life their bridal vision. No two brides are the same and we feel that there’s no one-size-fits-all headpiece.

With regal gardens, lush woodlands and blue skies, Aimee and Greg Keane’s wedding day was storybook perfect. Set in the idyllic Irish countryside, the day had all the charm and romance of a fairy tale wedding.
The setting was absolutely picturesque, but Aimee’s bridal look outshone it all. Aimee loved the simple style of her dress, with its boat neckline, long sleeves and sparkly belt. Along with her bright blue eyes and auburn hair, her look was fresh and elegant. When it came to accessorising, she needed a suitably regal headpiece. The HENRI crown was the perfect piece to adorn her look.
Location and ambience played a big part in Aimee and Greg’s wedding, as it set the theme for the whole day. After a ceremony at the local church, the reception took place at the Castle Oaks House in County Limerick (Ireland), which boasted vibrant foliage, manicured gardens and lots of country charm.
“One of the key elements was our venue, Castle Oaks House, as it is a stunning old Georgian manor house and is surrounded by beautiful gardens on the banks of the River Shannon. As it was such a classic looming house, I wanted our day to match that,” says Aimee.
The goal was to create a timeless wedding theme, and they achieved this with classic and simple styling. They also added a few personal and fun elements to make the day extra special.
“We had light-up love letters, a photobooth and what I really loved was the custom drawing of our venue with us in it. All the guests could sign it on the day. It’s now hanging in our sitting room and it’s a lovely reminder of the day. We also hired a keg of beer so that everyone had free pints when they arrived to the reception. That went down a treat.”
Aimee spent six months researching wedding dresses, before she found her perfect dress, which had everything she was looking for. It was simple with minimal embellishment, but the style and cut of the dress were classic and flattering.
“When I was looking online I kept being drawn to the more simplistic dresses so that’s why I loved my dress when I saw it as it had all the aspects I wanted… sleeves, simple with a little bit of bling in the belt, a stunning back and a long train. I just knew it was the dress for me when I saw it online and luckily it was even more beautiful on.”
She wanted her accessories to have a point of difference and make a statement. The HENRI crown fitted this brief.
“It was simple yet dramatic and so unusual… I had never seen a piece like it”.
She styled the crown in a loose, romantic up do, with soft tendrils framing her face.
“When I found my wedding dress, I knew I wanted to find really unusual accessories. As my dress was quite plain, I knew it could take a few statement accessories. I came across Tania Maras on Facebook one day and when I went into her website, I knew I wanted one of her pieces… I wanted them all actually!”
“My best advice is; it’s your special day so do it your way. You will never please everyone so don’t worry yourself trying to. We had the most amazing day with our loved ones and it was so special, so you can’t afford regrets. It always works out in the end. Also, the day goes way too fast so try to take it all in and enjoy it as much as you can.”
‘Modern, simple and classic’ was Talia’s design brief when researching her bridal look. She found the perfect off-the-shoulder gown and elevated the look with our gold HENRI crown and drop chain ISABEAU earrings. This classic aesthetic flowed through to the venue, décor and photo shoot. The result was a stunning setting for Talia and her husband Zac’s dream wedding day.
Los Angeles-based Talia and Zac married in Pittsburgh, which is where they originally started dating. The goal was to include aspects of both these cities in their wedding. With hints of LA glamour in the venue décor and the traditional Pittsburgh cookie table, they achieved just that.
Talia and Zac have lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, but for their wedding, they loved the idea of getting married closer to their family in Pittsburgh and having their LA friends come over to see their hometowns.
“I wanted the vibe to be a mix of ‘home’ but with an LA twist – but also fun and not stuffy,” says Talia.
However, finding the right venue in Pittsburgh was a challenge.
“I am into modern aesthetic and décor, simple and clean lines. This type of venue was seriously lacking in Pittsburgh. Everything there is very rustic or vintage… the opposite of me! I was so happy when I walked into my venue, J Verno Studios – an all-white modern venue with pops of unique furniture and décor and impressive lighting. The venue also happened to be in the exact part of the city that me and my husband started hanging out in together in 2004!”
After scouring the internet and dress shopping in LA, it was trip to Pittsburgh where Talia made a surprising discovery about her idea of the ‘perfect dress’.
“When I started trying on dresses in LA, there were a few that I liked but I still didn’t feel like I found ‘the one’ – I was trying to sell myself on lace and sequins – the typical ‘bride’ look,” she says. “I flew back to Pittsburgh to do a dress shopping day with my mum, best friend and aunt, with zero intention of buying a wedding dress. When I was trying on dresses in Pittsburgh, someone suggested a plain silk crepe dress which I said no to for being too boring… but I tried it on anyway and kind of fell in love with the look. We headed to our second appointment of the day and after once again trying on lacey and sparkly dresses my stylist suggested a silk crepe off the shoulder Lian Carlo gown.”
As soon as Talia put on the dress everyone started crying… with happy tears! The uncomplicated beauty of the dress didn’t detract from Talia’s striking facial features – her gorgeous full lips, bold eyes and luscious dark hair.
“The major thing that attracted me to this dress was that I knew in fifty years when I was looking at photos from my wedding day, I would be in something timeless.”
Talia’s tip for dress and accessory shopping: “stay true to your aesthetic – don’t try to convince yourself to wear something that isn’t ‘you’. Your wedding day should reflect your overall look and vibe every other day of your life!”
While Talia’s dress was classic and timeless, she was after an overall look that was a little more edgy and cool. She achieved this with her accessorising. Talia was drawn to the bold silhouette of the HENRI crown, which features beaded spikes on top. She styled the crown with a hairstyle of classic waves with one side tucked back, therefore showing off a sparkly gold ISABEAU earring.
“The ISABEAU earrings were the perfect piece to go with the crown – I liked the cool drop style. They’re not your typical blinged out bridal earrings.”
Talia loved the bold silhouette of the HENRI crown and the cool drop style of the ISABEAU earrings.
“I knew I wanted my photos to be a little gritty and cool on the streets of Pittsburgh – nothing too cutesy or airy,” says Talia. “I chose my photographer, Rachel Rowland, because her aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for. Her photos show emotion and are incredibly stunning. She was also voted Best Photographer in Pittsburgh! She suggested to do some photos on top of a building in an empty parking lot. I trusted her judgement – she knows what she’s talking about!”
In addition to the wedding cake, the reception party was made even sweeter with a decadent cookie table. This Pittsburgh tradition of having a table full of cookies at the wedding reception is a concept we can definitely get behind!
“The old school way is that all the bride’s female family members help bake the cookies,” Talia explains. “Well, my mum just so happens to own her own baking business – Debbie’s Deluxe Cookies and Cakes. Being her first child to get married, you can imagine how excited she was! So excited that she went completely above and beyond and made 5000 cookies for the wedding (not exaggerating) – about 30 cookies per person. This entire display took an entire back wall of the venue for everything to fit. My LA friends have never heard of a cookie table at weddings so needless to say everyone was going nuts. She also made my wedding cake – it was stunning and gluten-free for me!”
“Have fun with it and try not to stress (easier said than done, I was stressed the entire time!),” says Talia. “Remember that in the end, the little details do not matter and you will have the best day ever.”
Blush pink wedding accessories are some of our biggest obsessions. Blush tones have become increasingly popular in bridal fashion, whether incorporated into wedding gowns, accessories or flower bouquets, this soft shade offers a timeless appeal that adds a touch of enchantment and femininity.
Blush is a versatile colour that evokes a sense of romance and elegance. It can complement a range of skin tones and blend beautifully with traditional white, ivory and even coloured wedding dresses.
When choosing blush pink accessories for a wedding, we recommend brides consider several factors to ensure that these pieces complement their overall bridal look and wedding theme.
Blush pink can vary from pale pink to a peachy pink to a deeper rose tone. Consider how the specific shade of blush will look against the colour of your wedding dress. Blush pink generally pairs well with white, ivory, champagne and even some bolder hues. But it’s essential to match the undertones to avoid clashing.
The style of your dress can also dictate the type of blush accessories that work best. For example, a romantic, lace gown may pair beautifully with delicate blush accessories, while a modern, minimalist dress might suit more contemporary blush pieces such as a pink wedding veil or pink quartz drop earrings.
Blush pink is a flattering colour for many skin tones, but it’s still important to choose the right shade. Warmer skin often pair well with blush shades that have peachy undertones, while cooler skin tones may be complemented by blush tones with a hint of lavender or mauve.
Consider how blush pink accessories will fit into your wedding theme. For instance, blush is ideal for romantic, vintage or garden-themed weddings. It can also work well in bohemian or beach weddings, depending on the accessories’ style.
The setting of your wedding can influence your choice of accessories. For outdoor weddings, natural and whimsical blush accessories can enhance the surroundings. For a more formal venue, consider elegant and understated blush pieces.
Shop this look: ORCHARD wedding crown, DOLCE VITA clutch, MONET bridal headpiece, GARDENIA pink wedding veil, BLUSHING pink wedding veil, HONEYSUCKLE floral headpiece, BELLA DONNA pink quartz earrings
While blush pink can be a beautiful accent, it’s essential not to overdo it. Choose a few key pieces that enhance your look without overwhelming it. Balance blush pink accessories with neutral tones or metallics to keep the look sophisticated.
Consider the size and prominence of blush accessories. Larger statement pieces should be balanced with more understated items to maintain harmony in your ensemble.
Blush pink is essentially popular for spring and summer weddings, as it reflects the soft, blooming nature of these seasons. However, it can also be beautifully incorporated into autumn and winter weddings with the right accents, such as deeper pinks or pairing with rich, warm tones.
Ultimately, your accessories should reflect your personal style and make you feel comfortable and beautiful. Whether you prefer subtle hints of blush or bold statements, choose pieces that resonate with your personality and vision for your wedding day.
