Precious Pearls | Silver bridal headpiece with pearls for Hannah
I’ve been dying to share with you all this precious piece I recently designed for New Zealand based bride, Hannah. And I have to say, Hannah is such a sweetheart!
I adored Hannah’s vision for her bridal look. She had the perfect bridal hairstyle which she had fallen in love with, and after chatting to her wedding hairstylist, they decided that the best headpiece to suit her look was something a little longer and thinner to frame her hairstyle from behind. Hannah loved the Camillia bridal headpiece but preferred the detailing from the Juliet pearl comb in silver tones… so she got in touch, we started chatting and the rest is history!
Hannah’s piece is extra special because it features the loveliest blend of pearls, silver rhinestone details and intricate handmade flower and pearl flower accents. Her gown featured a blend of silver and ivory tones so I kept this in mind as I was designing and styling her piece. I really love the soft balance of ivory and silver – they’re two tones which work so wonderfully together, especially on a wedding day!
The piece I designed for Hannah is the same dimensions as the original Camillia but rather than hand-beading, Hannah’s piece is completely hand-wired to incorporate the Juliet accents. I love the idea of this headpiece wrapped around a bridal chignon or even positioned centred from behind to frame a half up/half down hairstyle. And, would it be amazing in a low set rolled hairstyle? I definitely think so!
If you’re feeling inspired by this piece but you’d like to make it more ‘you’, why not get in touch! Feel free to send me an email and share any photos of your wedding dress you have handy and we can start chatting about your perfect piece.
Thanks Hannah, you’re the sweetest! xx
